Electric Light Orchestra Cellist Mike Edwards Killed After Bale of Hay Rolls onto Highway
Former Electric Light Orchestra member Mike Edwards has passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident. On Friday (September 3), the 62-year-old cellist was driving in England when a hay bale weighing 600 kilograms rolled onto the highway and crushed his van. Klaxons Clear Up Rejected “Experimental” Album Debacle, Reveal Plans for New EP Series
Last year, a story surfaced that English psychedelicists Klaxons weren’t feeling the love from their record label Polydor after submitting their second album. One comment from an interview was taken out of context, blown out of proportion and wham! — headlines sprouted up saying, “Klaxons album rejected by label for being ‘too experimental.’” In a recent interview with Exclaim!, guitarist Simon Taylor-Davis cleared up the confusion, saying the label didn’t reject anything.
